I've given up trying to explain twitter to people. It's the kind of thing you have to try to "get". Like all things, people either adopt or detract. I'm happy to be in the adopters camp.

Thanks for the mention Gemma.

It's true that Twitter definitely seems to have 'changed' within the last few weeks. It was Gary actually that said it’s like your favourite pub has been invaded by a bunch of trendy types and you’re trying to work out whether you should try and fit in or move on.

Whether all the celebs continue to tweet next week, next month and in to next year will be an interesting one. @wossy and @schofe seem to be the stand out one's that really seem to 'get' it.

Interesting bit about us all being ego-maniacs. Definitely agree. What's the one thing people love talking about and know the most about? Themselves. Twitter provides us all the platform to use it as we see fit. One of it's advantages but at the same time the reason why some people don't understand it is how people use Twitter. What do they use it for? If you asked 10 people what they use Twitter for, chances are they will all come back with different answers. I use it for sharing, conversing and opening my mind to all the amazing stuff out there, starring it to check back later.
