Not content with the frighteningly unfinished novel, the pet project in the pipelines and many hours spent in front of the TV with the boyfriend watching Mad Men, Dollhouse and Castle (oh my God, Castle) I’ve taken on yet more Very Important Work.

Firstly, I’m doing some work for Yell.com’s ‘Sort Your Life Out‘ blog with my colleague Kelly. We’re the resident fashion experts (natch) helping people sort out their wardrobes and get ready for the new season in style.

And then there’s the very exciting Domestic Sluttery. This one is purely a labour of love. Sadly I can’t take credit for the amazing name, the idea or even the blog itself. It’s all the brainchild of the fabulous Sian (with design by the equally fabulous Robyn). I first heard about it when I first met Sian at a Qype event. It was at the height of my home decor obsession (ie. when I moved into my flat) and I loved her idea for a domestic blog for people who don’t have time to actually be domestic. It’s basically about cupcakes, Cath Kidston, cocktails and overpriced glassware. Perfect! As we as Sian, Robyn and me, there are two other wondeful writers, Jess (aka Digressica) and Jane, all of whom I’m very excited about going for celebratory cocktails with tomorrow.
