From June, I'll be going part-time at Shiny Media, and I'm really looking forward to the possibility of doing other things.
But I can't pretend I'm not as scared as I am excited about what might happen in the next few months.
I've been working on Catwalk Queen (in some shape or form) since 2001. It's my baby, and I created it from the ground up, which goes some way to explaining why I'm not one of those twentysomethings who job hops every five minutes.
But working for five years at the same company is a long time when you're young, and things have to change eventually.
What I'll do with the extra time remains to be seen. I have my novel to finish, I have a pet project in the pipelines that may eventually become something worthwhile, but beyond that, who knows.
I know the freelance pool is already full of amazing writers, some of whom I've had the pleasure of working with during my time at Shiny. But hopefully there is room for one more fashionista, beauty buff, celebrity fiend and web geek.
If you hear of anyone looking for someone like me, do let me know!
